The Research Fellow provides extensive collaboration opportunities with a broad network of healthcare professionals and researchers both locally and internationally. Additionally, there is an opportunity to develop new research topics within the maternal-child health area. The duties included:
Job Requirement:
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator to design, plan, and execute research projects focusing on maternal-child health, particularly in reproductive health studies.
- Independently design and analyse research data, provide expert guidance and supervise data analysis, and collaborate with others on dataset integration, analysis, and results interpretation.
- Supervise the day-to-day progress of research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines.
- Manage administrative responsibilities related to IRB applications, ensuring compliance with ethical, regulatory, and legal standards, and liaise with supporting departments and stakeholders.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Contribute to the development of grant proposals and reports for funding agencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, researchers, public health experts from universities, government agencies, and industrial partners.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Job Requirement:
- PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Nutrition, Public Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience in statistical analysis using programs such as R or Stata, with a focus on health data modelling.
- Relevant experience in a clinical research setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- A track record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience with AI and machine learning methods is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with both immediate and extended colleagues.
