Part Time Lecturer
The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks outstanding candidates to apply for a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Lecturer to join our faculty team.
SBS is searching for individuals with a well-defined research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in top journals. The successful candidate will establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate is expected to show a strong commitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring and teaching.

Responsibilities:
• Go through all lectures/LAMS/tutorial materials and connect the teaching materials used in all pre-class lectures/LAMS where relevant to the in-class tutorial discussion.
• Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course.
• Use the final version of the course / tutorial materials provided by Course Coordinators. Instructors may however include additional materials.
• Grade course assignments (including presentations, tests, quizzes, exam scripts).
• Monitor the attendance of students. Update the Course Coordinators should there be habitual absentees.
• Moderate assignment grades, where necessary, per course policy or instructions.
• Work closely with the Course Coordinator(s) to handle student queries and other student matters (e.g. academic dishonesty) related to the course.
Ensure timely and accurate compilation, processing and entry of course marks, and to review and address students' request for review of course results.
• Handle all course related matters as determined by Course Coordinator(s).
