Job Description

-Responsible for leading and managing an industry-facing programme focusing on AI solution development & implementation in manufacturing sector.

-Define & execute an overall programme management framework, including but not limited to finance / governance / resource management / IHL collaboration / stakeholder management / programme administration / project management etc.

-Responsible for the programme overall progress and compliance to grantor?s requirements, and report to all internal and external stakeholders regularly.

-Provide leadership guidance to project managers, coordinate cross-project activities to accomplish strategic objectives, oversee multiple projects across various research organizations, and ensure successful delivery of project scope and targets while managing all the risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, and budget.

-Support ecosystem development with relevant stakeholders from public agencies, IHL and industry for economic impacts in the programme.

-Work closely with AI researchers and manufacturing domain experts together with industry partners to capture AI manufacturing use cases and manage the full life cycle of R&D projects by planning organizing, executing, monitoring and evaluating from conception to completion, and eventually to industry implementation.

Job Requirement
  • Bachelor or Masters in any Science & Engineering related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years or more of large-scale multiple-party project management experience in technology and/or product development; any past experience on research project would be preferable.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding of various engineering subjects, manufacturing technology, product development, latest AI technology trend
  • Ability to deal with complex stakeholder management with public agencies, academia, research organization, industry, and trade association.
  • Good business acumen, able to identify business opportunity independently and interact with industry partners confidently.
  • Proactive team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to industry.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills; strong logic thinking and writing skills.
  • PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous.
