We are looking for a research fellow to conduct research on perception system for vision-based perception system for high-performance car.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of vision-based perception algorithms for high-performance high-speed autonomous vehicles.
- Involve in perception, mapping, localization, state estimation, test rig set-up, and experimental validation.
- Planning general research program and direction.
- Making individual/team decisions about design and conduct of research methods and experiments.
- Maintenance and repair of equipment and apparatus.
- Advice on consumable and small scale purchasing.
- Directing students/collaborators research.
- Involve in publication decisions, papers, conference abstracts etc.
- Involve in strategy for long-term research program and wider research strategy of the research group.
Job Requirements:
- PhD Degree in Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, AI, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.
- Strong background in perception system, robotics and automation.
- Candidates having relevant research or working experience in perception system algorithms will be preferred.
- Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision.
- Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills.
- Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines
