The School of Social Sciences (Psychology) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

The Research Fellow will be a key member of a 2-year project on understanding the experiences of low wage workers in the pursuit of lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting literature review related to the research project
  • Assisting with the data collection
  • Compiling, processing, and analyzing the quantitative and qualitative data collected
  • Supporting the preparation of presentation, progress and final reports, and manuscripts related to the projects
  • Liaising with external organization/institutions to handle any administrative work related to the Project


Job Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Applied Psychology, Education or related fields
  • Good research, communication, and management skills, as well as the ability to work independently are a must.
  • Experience in empirical research, particularly research design, empirical methodologies, and scholastic writing of journal articles.
  • Excellent data analytic skills
  • Proficient in software such as R, SPSS, Mplus
  • Experience with project management and grant application is desirable.
