Part-Time Lecturer for DV3012 Production for Graphic Designers
The School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for DV3012 Production for Graphic Designers. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in January 2025.
This 13-week intermediate to advanced course introduces undergraduate students to the techniques and processes of graphic design production. Students will be exposed to digital technologies and vendor management, as well as learn how to efficiently prepare highest-quality artwork that conform to professional requirements and industrial standards for print and electronic media. This learning forms practical and technical knowledge to prepare students for work in a professional setting.
Successful candidates will have a Masters and/or PhD in Visual Communication/Graphic Design or related field of study, with a track record of creative practice within design. Any past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication/Graphic Design with sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
