Nanyang Business School competes with top business schools worldwide to attract senior professionals from diverse backgrounds to join its graduate programmes. The position holder is responsible for providing career services to MBAs and ensuring students are successful in their post-MBA journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Career office strategy and implementation:
    • Engage with leadership to launch and operationalise strategic initiatives to keep career services at the forefront of providing optimal and efficient services;
    • Engage with careers team in providing multi-faceted career workshops, networking events and company presentations.


  • Lead career development to help MBA students get full-time and/or internship roles:
    • Work with NTU/NBS and external stakeholders in ensuring all relevant job and internship opportunities are availed to MBA students in a timely manner;
    • Provide counselling to MBA students, with a view to help students refine career goals and sharpen job search strategies;
    • Provide first level insights across industries, and coach students to ensure readiness for career related interactions with employers;
    • Source for internships and manage application process, including required submissions, ensuring all regulatory and University policies/ guidelines are adhered to;
    • Track, update and complete information and documentation required for ranking of MBA programme;
    • Perform other essential duties and tasks specific to position.


  • Support business development and employer engagement to source jobs and internships for MBA students:
    • Work with GSCDO sector leads to engage employers and increase placement rates of MBA students;
    • Maintain understanding of market factors (national & global) relative to employer organisations;
    • Build partnerships with companies providing jobs and internships/industry projects;
    • Manage relationships with industry leaders who provide industry insights and career coaching to students. Take charge of administrative matters as part of managing these relationships.


Requirements:
  • Degree from a top-tier global business school is required. MBA preferred.
  • At least 7 years' experience, with track record of building internal and external collaborations. Experience in career services and/or working with post-graduate students with an Institute of Higher Learning, preferably within a business school, is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Team player who takes initiative and drives excellence.
