Additional job description

As a core part of Google Customer Solutions (GCS), AppDev is one of the fastest growing businesses in the Global Business Organization (GBO). AppDev works in the global Apps and Games ecosystem, helping them grow and expand their business across each region.

In this role, you will work on iOS and Android Apps and Games in Asia-Pacific to help them optimize their user acquisition strategy with Google Ads. You will deliver client engagements on data measurement and investigative consulting projects (e.g., pLTV, event selection, incrementality). You will help clients understand and improve the effectiveness of their advertising across digital platforms and across media. In addition, you will lead hypothesis-driven client analysis to surface actionable insights.

Job responsibilities

  • Build scalable solutions and measurement frameworks to help AppDev promoters and their customers accelerate their advertising business across Android, iOS, domestic and international markets through the power of data.
  • Collaborate and influence various cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Strategy. Partner and identify new business opportunities, put thoughtful insights together and present those and drive decision-making.
  • Train promoters and customers with industry and investigative thought leadership by monitoring the latest trends and insights from developers and users, and by offering data-driven suggestions via supporting tools and presentations for high-level sales initiatives.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in running causal/incrementality study to measure impact.
  • Knowledge of Apps or Web attribution ecosystem, and SQL to provide key insights.
  • Understanding of machine learning methodologies including data cleansing, normalization, feature engineering, model training/validation and automation, statistical modeling and quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently in order to lead business and technical conversations with key clients in the Vietnam market.
  • Ability to work with limited guidance and provide actionable business insights.
