Part-Time Lecturer for EE6510 Power System Operation & Planning
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-Time Lecturer for EE6510 Power System Operation & Planning. The Part-Time Lecturer is expected to teach this postgraduate course commencing in October 2024.
This 13-week course will be offered to students taking NTU EEE MSc Power Engineering Programme with the objective to impart to the students the knowledge relevant to power system planning and operations. The course will provide in-depth coverage of all essential aspects of power system operation and planning including load forecasting, generation scheduling, network operation, probability and reliability, generation planning and transmission planning.
The successful candidate should have extensive relevant industry experience and/or at least a PhD degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (with Power Engineering research background) and a passion for teaching. Past teaching experience in a similar subject at Postgraduate Level (for EE6510) is preferred.

The successful candidate is expected to assume duty in October 2024 and is able to commit at least 5 months (1 semester) to this position.
