Executive/Senior Executive, Clinical Research Officer for the Health Screening Centre
Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for Executive/Senior Executive, Clinical Research Officer who is self-motivated, proactive in problem solving and a strong team player. The candidate will be part of the Health for Life in Singapore (HELIOS) Study team, a flagship Singapore population health study jointly conducted by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London. We aim to profile the health and behavior of up to 10,000 people from the general Singapore population over the next few years. We are conducting (1) surveys on health, lifestyle and dietary habits, (2) physical and functional measurements (e.g. anthropometry, strength, exercise test, spirometry, ECG, optical imaging and pulse wave velocity) and (3) biomarkers for chronic diseases.

The candidate will play a key role mainly in, but not limited to, the following roles:
- Trained and proficient in technical phlebotomy and venipuncture.
- Carefully and safely manage and transport blood samples
- Adhere to all safety protocols and dispose of needles and other contaminated materials properly.
Candidates should have:
- Enrolled Nurse or Diploma/Degree in Nursing or Medical Technology with phlebotomy certificate.
- Preferably with experience in phlebotomy via vaccutainer or syringe and needle venipuncture.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Fluent in Malay, Tamil, Chinese or dialects would be of advantage.
- Passion to make the difference in the society through research and/or serving the community
- The ability to work independently with high levels of motivation.
