Research Fellow (Computational Sciences/Aerospace Engineering/Operations Research)
ATMRI is seeking to hire a Research Fellow to conduct innovative to develop artificial intelligence methods and machine learned models to improve the performance, reliability and safety of air traffic system's operations in the face of increasing demand for air travel and inherent uncertainties (for e.g. weather and delays) in the air traffic management (ATM) system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in artificial intelligence methods, machine learned models, and Human-AI collaboration.
- Collect and analyze air traffic data related to the project.
- Develop optimization algorithm and models for Air traffic management.
- Run simulations and perform visualization and data analysis.
- Develop prototypes and intelligent tools for Air traffic flow management.
- Assist PI/team lead with project management and lead/mentor research team.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with industrial and academic partners.
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in Computational Sciences/aerospace engineering/Operations Research/related field.
- Strong publication record in top journals (SCI Q1), AI/ATM conferences.
- Strong theoretical background in machine learning, computational intelligence and optimization
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills is essential for research work
- Independent and team player
