The Energy Research Institute at NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Seismic data collection, processing, and analysis, specifically for the Lumut Balai geothermal field, Indonesia.
• Developing new seismic imaging techniques to reveal detailed subsurface structures at 0-10 km depths.
• Applying novel earthquake location methods to monitor microseismicity in the Lumut Balai geothermal field.
• Publish high-quality scientific results in Tier-1 journals.

Job Requirements:

• A PhD degree in Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics, or related areas, with focus on seismic imaging
• Experience in inverse problems, seismic data analysis, and geological interpretation
• Proficient in coding languages, such as C, C++, Fortran, and Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong publication record
