The Senior Executive (Internship) is a functional individual contributor to the internship programme at school level. The incumbent could function as a programme manager or assisting the programme manager of internship programme at school level.

Responsibilities

Programme Operations and Customer Service Management

1) Support to:
  • Curate and maintain currency of approved work-integrated education programmes (whether academic or non-academic).
  • Curate or update to all internship campaign(s) for programmes managed by the team with supervision by designated Manager.
  • Monitor and ensure that internship opportunities are sufficient enough to meet student internship demand; and to report to designated Manager or Team Lead if quota failed to meet expected demands so that pre-emptive actions can be taken.

2) Support in arrangement of event activities to educate and/or inform students about internship, internship procedures and performance during internship.

3) Co-ordinates with participating school to ensure adequate students' participation and turnout.

4) Manage end-to-end work-integrated education processes of assigned internship programme(s):
  • Monitor internship placement progress and highlight issue to Team Lead for rectification actions.
  • Resolve any internship related issues arising from either students and/or internship employer(s); and if needed, to escalate issues to Team Lead.
  • Follow-up and manage all feedback including timely response whether from employers and/or students with regards internship services.
  • Suggest improvements to the internship practices, operational and customer services processes, to the Team Lead.


Business Development & Stakeholders Management

5) Support active engagement with current and potential employers (and any relevant stakeholders) to garner relevant internship opportunities.

6) Assist in planning and arrange suitable work-integrated education initiatives with respective schools to reinforce workplace experiential learning.

7) Assist in planning and organizing events and activities according to programme needs; and to constantly review and to report on event progress.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized University, or those with a polytechnic diploma with extensive relevant working experiences may also apply.
  • At least 1 to 3 years working experiences in areas of internship/training management, customer services and service delivery experience preferably in tertiary education, adult education sectors and/or government agencies environment.
  • Able to work with diverse groups of stakeholders.
