Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is seeking a passionate and qualified Research Fellow in machine learning and AI to lead a research project investigating the use of digital biomarkers to predict student mental health condition. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a research project.
• Establish a data acquisition pipeline with external collaborators.
• Develop predictive AI and machine learning models for mental health applications using data extracted from wearables.
• Analyzing and interpret data acquired and draft insightful reports and presentations summarizing research findings, methodology, and potential implications.
• Publish research findings in top-tier journals and conferences.
• Manage project timelines, budget, and resources effectively to ensure deliverables are met.
• Foster a collaborative research environment and provide guidance and support to team members.
• Develop presentations and reports tailored for diverse audiences, including academic and non-academic stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of grant proposals to secure funding for future research projects.

Qualification:

• A minimum of a Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related field.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience in developing predictive machine learning models
• Experience using database interrogation and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of data analytics theory, enabling the transformation of raw data into meaningful insights that address research questions.
• Demonstrated research experience with a relevant publication record.
