The Asian School of the Environment at NTU invites applications for a post of part-time instructor in CC0006 Sustainability: Society, Economy, and Environment. The course aims to foster awareness, critical thinking, curiosity, and collaboration across disciplines through the lens of current sustainability challenges. The course lecture is delivered to a large class of about 160 students, who are then divided into four groups for discussion and activities. As an instructor, you will be responsible for one such group, and you will help students analyse sustainability issues from social, economic, and environmental perspectives and on different scales (individual, organizational, Singaporean, and global). You will then facilitate students' use of these skills to discuss and propose solutions for sustainability challenges facing Singapore and the world.

Requirements:

• A master's degree in any academic discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferably prior teaching experience at a tertiary level or with adult learners
• Interest in sustainability and environmental issues
