The Capital and Liquidity Policy Division is currently implementing processes for submission of revised bank capital regulatory returns onto MAS' Data Collection Gateway (DCG), a data collection platform for banks to submit returns.

You will help to develop dashboards with reports and charts, as specified by the business users, using SAP Business objects, based on data fields in bank capital regulatory returns. The building of the reports and charts for the dashboard involves naming and building source data fields to be pulled, uploading and running test data through the dashboards under development, troubleshooting errors, and working with colleagues from the technology department to deep dive into the technical issues and propose solutions where there are system limitations.

You will also help to conduct testing to ensure the correct creation of the reports on the MAS' DCG, as well as on MAS' internal platform, IRIS, to view banks' submissions. This involves checking the output of the system reports in DCG and IRIS against test documents (in excel) to make sure that the formats are consistent, correct labels are assigned to headers, and data outputs on the system reports are as expected.

Your work will help to make sure that the data systems work effectively, and will contribute to enhancing MAS' systems for analysing financial risks of banks from bank capital requlatory data, to ensure the resilience of the banking system.
