The Hospitality Unit, nestled within NTU's Hospitality and Events Office, is committed to the meticulous management and strategic enhancement of NTU's hospitality assets. The scope of work includes:
Being responsible for the daily operations of NTU's diverse hospitality offerings, including NTU's accommodation, event spaces and F&B assets, ensuring high service standards.
Financial oversight of budget, preparation of monthly reports and oversee invoicing. Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure financial self-sufficiency of the unit by astutely managing costs and optimising revenue streams.
Candidates should possess a depth of knowledge in hospitality management and have a passion for aligning services with NTU's academic ethos and broader vision. Prior experience in a similar role, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude, is essential. Other key requirements include:

- A Bachelor's degree, preferably related to events/hospitality management
- Comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry, including trends, best practices, and operational nuances
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards specific to the hospitality sector
- Technical knowledge in exhibition systems, electrical, carpentry and/or digital printing materials will be an advantage
- Protocols in handling high level events
- About 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in venues / hospitality industry
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in events management, preferably in an academic sector
- Meticulous attention to detail with high-level of accuracy, demonstrating a strong work ethic and discretion
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Positive attitude, able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively as a responsible and cooperative team player. Demonstrates creativity and resilience in problem-solving
