Adjunct Assistant Professor

The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks outstanding candidates to apply for an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

SBS is searching for individuals with a well-defined research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in top journals. The successful candidate will establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate is expected to show a strong commitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring and teaching.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will collaborate with NTU and RVC professors to develop the Veterinary Medicine curriculum, assist in faculty recruitment, and prepare for the program's launch, ensuring it meets international standards. They will also help establish the One Health research centre, ensuring its alignment with the national agenda.

In addition to these responsibilities, the adjunct faculty member will participate in teaching an undergraduate course focusing on One Health in Singapore.

Candidates should have extensive experience in veterinary medicine and One Health initiatives, a proven track record of academic collaboration, and expertise in curriculum development and faculty recruitment. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of veterinary education and research at NTU.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
