A Research Fellow position is currently available in the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI).

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and synthesizing thin-film composite (TFC) hollow fiber membranes
• Processing, modifying, and incorporating COF materials into TFC hollow fiber membranes
• Characterizing COF materials and hollow fiber membranes
• Evaluating CO2 adsorption and separation performances

Job Requirements:

• PhD from a reputable university in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or other related disciplines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
• Good communication, interpersonal and oral presentation skills.
• Good synthetic experimental skills for nanomaterials immobilization and hollow fiber membrane fabrication and modification
• Good knowledge of membrane-based gas separation process
• Good writing skills for proposal and report writing and publication in good academic journals
