The Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) invites applications for the position of Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

• To optimize the slurry formulations for 3D printing.
• To improve the material properties to fulfill design requirement.
• Build prototypes and test with industry collaborators.
• Draft technical report and manuscript for publication.
• Mentor phd/FYP students

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in materials science & engineering, master degree or bachelor degree with 2nd upper honor may be considered.
• At least 1 year's relevant experience in material research. Work experience in ceramic processing is preferred.
• Experience in 3D printing of materials and using SolidWork or other digital model building software is preferred.
• Prefer to having published 1-2 peer reviewed papers.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent teamwork awareness.
• Good communication and writing in English.
• Self-motivation, strong responsibility for research / work
