The Nanyang Technological University NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory is seeking to hire a Senior Research Fellow. The selected candidate will innovate in semiconductor packaging, focusing on metallization and wafer packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize plasma-enhanced metallization, vacuum coating processes, and leading R&D efforts in material science for device performance enhancement.
• Drive the development and implementation of advanced metallization techniques.
• Propose relevant vacuum coating solutions, conducting plasma simulations to refine processes.
• Oversee the transition from experimental designs to scalable solutions.
• Additionally, the role requires preparation and delivery of comprehensive reports to satisfy the stipulations of funding entities and corporate mandates.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or science discipline is required.
• At least ten years of specialized post-doctoral experience.
• Expertise in plasma simulations (ANSYS, COMSOL) and a strong track record of research publications and successful grant applications are essential.
• Applicants must demonstrate effective collaboration skills in multidisciplinary settings.
