The position is as a research assistant is required to assist in project related to drug screening in vitro, in animal models, and other research activities conducted by Assoc Prof Kevin Pethe at LKCMedicine. This candidate will also be responsible for administrative duties and laboratory management.

Research Assistant in the laboratory of Associate Professor Kevin Pethe
The position is as a research assistant is required to assist in project related to drug screening in vitro, in animal models, and other research activities conducted by Assoc Prof Kevin Pethe at LKCMedicine. This candidate will also be responsible for administrative duties and laboratory management.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform experiments involving bacteria culture, antibiotic screening, efficacy testing in animal models, data compiling, result analysis etc.
- Assist in daily lab administrative duties.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Biological/Biomedical Sciences or related disciplines or Degree in veterinary sciences.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a research assistant in a field related to microbiology (BSL-2), molecular biology, drug screening.
- RCULAC training and experience with mouse infection models is a must.
