A Senior Research Fellow position is available in the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

• Work on a project to conduct the research on FDTD methods for electromagnetics with extension to quantum
• Modeling of new dispersive anisotropic materials
• Stability analysis and stabilization of FDTD methods incorporating the models
• Formulation of finite-difference for Maxwell-Schrodinger equations
• Development of FDTD codes for coupled electromagnetic-quantum modelling

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Mathematical Physics or related field
• 4-year research experience in related area
• Expertise in FDTD methods
• Expertise in mathematical formulations of Maxwell-Schrodinger equations
• Publication track record is an advantage
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ and Matlab
• Proficiency in English
