The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) is looking for an enthusiastic Research Fellow for intelligent optical measurement with AI, focusing on modern optical metrology and NDT techniques and algorithms so as to enhance the manufacturing capability of Singapore and worldwide.

• Publish novel discoveries in the scope of intelligent optical measurement with AI

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Optical Engineering or other related disciplines
• First-author publications at peer-reviewed optics/CV/AI conference/journals
• Advanced knowledge of Computer Vision/Optical Metrology/Machine Learning
• Familiar with computer vision including but not limited to 3D vision, image denoising, image classification/segmentation, etc
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or other deep learning frameworks. Experience with image processing and OpenCV
• Strong knowledge and experience of Matlab/C++/Python
• Experience in optical metrology, such as stereo vision, structured light is preferred
• Experience working with industry camera and projector. Good knowledge of camera calibration is preferred
• Experience in fringe projection profilometry is preferred
• Good knowledge of phase extraction and phase unwrapping
