The School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the research and execution of a research project on Experimental work and research for process development to convert side-streams into usable materials
• Assist other team members in fine-tuning various aspects of converting raw materials to usable materials
• Facilitation in research project planning and provide support for all project-related activities
• Assist PI in procurement of equipment and consumables
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in Science or related fields
• Competent in processing technology, and understand the industry scale up aspect of usable materials production
• Relevant education background or research background in food science and technology are strongly encouraged to apply
• Prior working experience with food industry would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Good team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and willingness to learn
• Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
