Part-Time Lecturer for CI6207 Human-Computer Interaction - Users, Tasks & Designs

We are seeking a part time lecturer to teach one course, CI6207 Human-Computer Interaction - Users, Tasks & Designs. The course is offered in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information's MSc in Information Systems programme. It examines general design and usability issues, with respect to key cognitive and physical human capabilities and their relations to the design of usable and useful information systems.

The preferred candidate should have either experience teaching at the graduate/undergraduate level or relevant industry experience and have knowledge of the topics covered in the course. The course format consists of a three-hour weekly session that comprises lectures, tutorials and/or seminar discussions. The instructor will be responsible for leading each three-hour session in addition to syllabus planning, class preparation, marking for assessment and student consultation.

Requirements:

-Master's degree or higher

-Background in information science, information systems, computer science, or related discipline is strongly preferred
