The Nanyang Business School (NBS) is recruiting a Research Associate in the area of innovation studies encompassing cybersecurity and data privacy law and practice.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in innovations studies research eg adoption and diffusion of cybersecurity technologies
• Assist in the design of the interview guides and questionnaires
• lead and assist in performing qualitative and quantitative analysis for the study as well as the interviews
• Implementing empirical research
• Support in research collation
• Prepare and develop data protection and cybersecurity governance and frameworks and best practices and prepare summaries of research materials; and
• Provide support in other research related administrative tasks

Job Requirements

• Graduate of a good social science or similar discipline degree with experience in innovation studies research, or in data protection or cybersecurity.
• Masters degree in the area highly desirable
• Background in innovations studies and related field is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of technology an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised and meticulous
• Capable of following instructions meticulously
• Team player
