A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Integrated Circuits and Systems, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of hardware security Integrated Circuits (ICs), and the associated analysis means used for hardware security field. The roles of this position include:
  • Support IC design flows for prototyping secured ICs
  • Design secured ICs mitigating SCAs
  • Perform verification on a circuit netlist
  • Design test-jig platforms appropriate for SCA evaluations
  • Accelerate the analysis computation speed using hardware/software co-platforms
  • Build graphical user interface (GUI) for setting/linking up various parameters for hardware analysis
  • Document the development of secured ICs


Job Requirements:
  • PhD or equivalent in Computer Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
  • Passionate about software development, problem-solving and technical challenges
  • Proficient in IC design flows
  • Experience in electronic design automation is a plus
  • Experience in digital circuit/hardware security is a plus
  • Experience in Python (or programming in embedded systems) is a plus
  • Proficiency in English and technical communications
