Part-time Lecturer of the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (Ethics and Civics in a Multicultural World)
Part-time Lecturer (ICC)
The School of Humanities at NTU invites applications for part-time teaching of the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (Ethics and Civics in a Multicultural World). The instructor will be responsible for leading discussion sections, grading assignments, handling student consultations and fulfilling any other requirements pertaining to the role. The syllabus, including content and assignments, for Ethics and Civics in a Multicultural World is fixed.
Candidates should have an advanced degree in an area related to ethics and civics (e.g., philosophy, politics) and a proven track-record in teaching. That is, candidates will only be considered if they have the following:
• Master's degree in an area related to ethics and civics (PhD Preferred)
• Teaching experience at a tertiary level.
Applications should include the following:
• Cover letter (identifying how one's expertise is relevant to the course)
• CV
• Evidence of teaching excellence (e.g., teaching evaluations or reference letters)
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. This position does not meet the requirements for a work visa: applicants must already have the right to work in Singapore.
