The School of Humanities invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

One Project Officer (Research) position is available in the Department of English at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The English department at NTU engages with diverse cultures, theories, and disciplines, including literary and cultural trends in Asia and global and transnational studies. The Project fficer will assist with literary research, the building of a digital humanities project, and other light administrative duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design a searchable website archiving the medical narratives from the 17th to the 21st century
• Transcribe and classify scanned manuscripts
• Help with recording videos and producing animations
• Assist with light administrative duties

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a well-recognized university
• Strong research skills
• Strong video-editing and website-building skills
