No experience / No degreeThe School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore is seeking an accomplished leader in the areas of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology to join us as a Full Professor.
Applicants should have a distinguished record of teaching, research and scholarship and the ability to contribute in the advancement of the school's academic excellence, research, and professional education.
Applicants should have the research expertise in the broad areas of nanomaterials and their structure-property activity relationship, including single particle spectroscopy and plasmonics, novel chemical synthesis methods, supramolecular assembly, etc.
Applicants must have a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Physics and related fields and would normally already hold a tenured Professorial position in a university or equivalent institution.
The School of CCEB has been formed by merging the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) under the College of Engineering with the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) under the College of Science. This new interdisciplinary school is the first to be established jointly by the Colleges of Engineering and Science. The creation of the new School is aligned with the vision articulated in the NTU 2025 strategic plan to foster strong interdisciplinary synergies across academic units in education, research, and innovation, whilst ensuring depth and rigour in the topics within the disciplines.
