The School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize composite fabrication processes through experimental studies
• Characterize the structures and properties of the composite samples to establish structure-property relationships for the composite materials
• Optimize prepreg fabrication processes by working in a team
• Write project reports and scientific publications.

Job Requirements:

• Hold/expect a PhD degree in polymer science / polymer engineering / materials science
• Have 4-5 year (including PhD study period) research experience in a polymer-related field
• Strong background in polymer science, polymer processing or polymer composite fabrication
• Good knowledge and hands-on skills in structural and property characterization of polymer-based materials
• Good English speaking and writing skills
• Good team spirit
