Temasek Laboratories@NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Scientist. Temasek Laboratories@NTU explores the frontiers in science and develops strategic technologies to enhance the defence and security of Singapore. TL@NTU forms part of the defence technology community in Singapore alongside DSO National Laboratories, Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), Temasek Laboratories @ NUS and @SUTD and the local defence industry. The Research Scientist will help to support the semiconductor laser diode related project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of advanced laser diode structure
• Fabrication of semiconductor laser diode in the cleanroom
• Characterization and analyzing the semiconductor laser diode
• Purchase work within the project frame

Job Requirements:

• PhD in electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Expertise in solid state laser design, fabrication, and characterization
• Cleanroom work experiences are needed
