The Centre for Research and Development in Learning (CRADLE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

The Centre for Research and Development in Learning at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (CRADLE@NTU) seeks applicants with a Master's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from a university of good standing for a Research Associate Position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions (including schools) and project collaborators.
• Conduct literature reviews, and prepare research progress reports and policy reports for stakeholders
• Preparation and updating of ethics documents to institutional review boards.
• Data collection using psychological and neuroimaging techniques, such as cognitive testing, MRI and fNIRS
• Perform research-related administrative work, e.g., purchase of material/equipment for research
• Manage data analysis pipelines under supervision of research fellow and PI.
• Systems administration, including maintenance of network servers and data security.
• Carry any other duties as required by Principal Investigator

Job Requirements:

• Master's (or PhD) in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from a university of good standing.
• Possess excellent communication skills with good command of the English language to perform literature reviews and write progress reports.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently to collect data, analyse data, and communicate findings.
• Proficient in statistical analysis (e.g., SPSS, R, Jamovi and JASP) and experience with neuroimaging software.
• Willing to travel to school sites for data collection
• Excellent organizational skills and able to work within tight deadlines
• Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed.
• Prior experience with cognitive neuroscience research
• Prior experience with neuroimaging research
• Prior experience with cognitive/neuropsychological assessment with children and neuroimaging techniques such as: fMRI and/or functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS)
• Prior experience with academic publication processes
• Good knowledge of cognitive neuroscience theories and models of for higher cognitive functions
