A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Integrated Circuits and Systems, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of flexible Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) and MEMS Devices and Sensors for Robotic and Microfluidic applications etc.

The roles of this position include:

• SAW/MEMS devices design and implementation.
• MEMS/SAW Sensors for Robot and/or Microfluidics applications.
• Flexible materials and devices

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Mechanical and/or Microelectronics Engineering
• Relevant experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: 1. SAW/MEMS devices design and implementation; 2. MEMS/SAW Sensors for Robot and/or Microfluidics applications; 3. Flexible materials and devices
• Knowledge and/or experience in using some of tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS, Finite Element Analysis, CST, FPGA etc
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and also in a team environment
• Entry level candidates with strong interest in flexible SAW/MEMS electronics are also considered
