Part-Time Lecturer for DV2008 Interface Design
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) in collaboration with the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for Interface Design. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in August 2023.
The course focuses on planning and design of interfaces by digging deeper into the areas of user experience and design thinking. Through a series of exercises and assignments, students will be encouraged to design interfaces of given and chosen products.
Successful candidates will have a Masters and/or PhD in Computer Art, or Interface Design, or Game Design or Web Development and record of accomplishments and past teaching experience at undergraduate level.
Preference will be given to candidates having an active artistic practice that demonstrates a combination of the traditional and current approach to fine art and drawing and critical analysis across the spectrum of the medium, from traditional to contemporary drawing practice.
