Attention will focus on sample preparation of complex matrices using LC- analytical methods. The second is a project focused on the use of hyperspectral imaging for analyzing contaminants in food ingredients and will involve developing spectral libraries for known contaminants along with principle component analysis approaches to distinguish materials in complex mixtures.
