Experiential and Collaborative Learning (ECL) Office is a unit within the Institute of Pedagogical Innovation, Research and Excellence (InsPIRE) in NTU. InsPIRE oversees the implementation of university-wide education initiatives and ECL focuses on Experiential and Collaborative Learning in both the academic and co-curricular spaces.

The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Director, ECL in the coordination, curation and administration of the various co-curricular learning and experiential and collaborative learning initiatives under the NTU Education 2025 plan, and further strategic planning for NTU 2030. The incumbent is required to interface effectively with stakeholders at the levels of Assoc Provosts, InsPIRE Directors, School/College/Programme academic management and their administrative support staff. The incumbent is also expected to manage the complexity and periodic high workload.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director in communication and advisory to various University schools, departments and units in relation to their development and administration of co-curricular learning modules
  • Maintain records of Experiential and Collaborative Learning programmes offered by schools and departments for reporting and analysis
  • Coordinate preparation of outreach and publicity material for ECL office with InsPIRE's outreach and publicity team
  • Work with InsPIRE's procurement team for purchasing common or specific needs of ECL office
  • Work with InsPIRE's event team to organize workshops related to ECL initiatives
  • Act as the ECL Office's Data Governance Policy Manager and Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) manager and coordinate necessary actions for ECL's compliance
  • Work with Director on the annual financial budget plans


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an institute of higher learning
  • Prior experience in a relevant administrative/managerial role in an institute of higher learning will be advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access)
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, multi-task and deliver with quality and timeliness
  • Ability to apportion and manage tasks for junior staffs to meet flux of workload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Meticulous with good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
