A Research Associate position is currently available in the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute - Biotechnology.

Key Responsibilities

• Work synergistically with PI/Co-PI on conducting experiments, troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Performing experimental work (e.g., bench-top setups and reactors, collection of data, preparation of results) for various water treatment projects with under guidance of research fellows.
• Operating basic analytical instruments (e.g. fluorescence meters, automated analysers, etc.) and other laboratory hardware.
• Writing or contributing to publications or disseminating research findings using the media appropriate to the respective area of discipline/expertise.

Job Requirements

• Master's Degree in Environmental science/engineering, Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering or relevant fields.
• Knowledge and experience in environment science/engineering projects, in particular operation of bench-scale laboratory equipment for experimental purposes
• Good written and oral skills in English for effective communication/collaboration with international workgroup.
• Highly driven, organized & able to work independently and within a team.
