Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibility is to develop a system capable of navigation with multi-structural-level sensor fusion framework.
Sub responsibilities are:
- Investigate the suitability of various sensors for robot navigation in human-sense environment.
- Develop robot localization approach leveraging data from multiple sensors including but not limited to camera and lidars.
- Develop human detection and tracking module using deep learning.
- Assist in the development of mapping algorithm and software.
- Implement and test new algorithms in actual robot platforms.
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Research background on SLAM, object detection, sensor fusion, localization and mapping with paper publication in the relevant fields
- Familiar with various sensor fusion approach such as graph optimization, EKF
- Familiar with robot development tools such as ROS
- Fluent English speaking and writing skill.
