School of Art, Design and Media is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

For our Human-Robot interaction (HRI) research project exploring the intersection between robotic motion path design and artistic animation principles, we are looking for a Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the project together with the PI and Co-PIs
• Apply animation patterns to virtual and physical robots
• Organize the studies
• Interpret the data
• Contribute to the publications
• Coordinate the research officers and assistants

Job Requirements:

• PhD or MA degree in robotics or related discipline, with at least 6 years of related experiences
• Background in robotics/automation (preferably having worked with articulated robots) and an interest/passion for animation
• Understanding of Blender 3D or comparable 3D Software
• Understanding of mechanics
• Preferably with organization skills
• Passion for animation
