The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore is seeking an accomplished leader in the area of biomacromolecular engineering to apply for a tenured faculty position at the Associate Professor level.
The School of CCEB has been formed by merging the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) under the College of Engineering with the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) under the College of Science. This new interdisciplinary school is the first to be established jointly by the Colleges of Engineering and Science. The creation of the new School is aligned with the vision articulated in the NTU 2025 strategic plan to foster strong interdisciplinary synergies across academic units in education, research, and innovation, whilst ensuring depth and rigour in the topics within the disciplines.
Applicants should have a distinguished record of teaching, research and scholarship and proven ability to contribute to the advancement of the school's academic excellence, research, and professional education. Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Materials Science or other relevant discipline, with an outstanding scholarship record and a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
- Strong background in the broad areas of Biomacromolecular Engineering, Nanobiotechnology, Nanomedicine, and Interfacial Science, preferably having expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Bioanalytical Sensors
- Biophysics and Physical Chemistry
- Biomacromolecules and Self-Assembly
- Biomaterials and Therapeutics
- Antimicrobials / Infectious Diseases
- Immunology / Cancer
- Demonstrated experience in leading interdisciplinary research projects related to human health, animal science, and agriculture applications.
- Potential to build synergy with and contribute to large-scale research programmes in Singapore.
- Candidates must have extensive leadership experience as a principal investigator in a university or research institute setting with an outstanding research track record and proven capability to build global research networks.
