The Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University invites applications to fill a faculty position in Law, to be based in the Division of Business Law. The level of appointment is Associate Professor (Practice).

Requirements:

Qualified candidates should ideally have a terminal degree in their field of study and have at least 10 years of industry experience as well as an excellent practice-track record. Strong candidates with a Master of Laws degree (or its equivalent) will also be considered. As this position is specifically for the teaching, applied research, and industry outreach needs of the Business Law division, candidates must have strong and proven relevant teaching ability, evidenced by teaching demonstrations and teaching feedback from other tertiary institutions, publicly available outputs (e.g., teaching blogs, webinars), or other evidence of teaching effectiveness. Candidates must also have relevant legal industry experience and a good network that can link the university with the industry. Successful candidates should be able to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses, including executive courses and a range of other law courses offered by various programs in the school. There also must be evidence of service and some scholarship in the form of, but not limited to, good quality publications, book chapters, written cases, pedagogical research and impactful creative works.
