The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) is a school of the College of Science. It was established in 2002 with the mission to make a strong contribution to biological and biomedical sciences. Research areas at SBS include infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases and telomere biology and genome function. A Research Assistant in Microbiology and Synthetic Biology is currently available in the research lab of Professor Liang Zhao-Xun.

As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our research endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Protein Expression: Contribute to the expression and purification of proteins, an essential aspect of our work in synthetic biology.

Job Requirements:

• B.S. in Biology: Bachelor's degree in biology is required to be considered for this position.
• Experience Preferred: While not mandatory, experience in molecular cloning and protein expression is highly preferred.
