The NTU's Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute (NEWRI) is looking for an enthusiastic individual who will work as a Research Associate in the area of wastewater treatment and resource recovery. This research position is available in a collaborative project funded by NRF.The purpose of this position is conducting research in nanofiltration membranes with advanced bioprocesses to achieve the set goals for this project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate hybrid reactor to treat industry wastewater treatment.
  • Perform samples analysis using advanced analytical equipment.
  • Characterize feed stocks and final products.
  • Be responsible for data acquisition and processing.
  • Prepare research reports and presentation materials.


Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree in chemical/environmental engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related disciplines.
  • Possess water and material analysis skills.
  • Experiences with wastewater treatment processes, biological treatment, or the related fields would be an advantage.
  • Good communication and writing skill in English.
