A Project Officer position is currently available in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

The NTU theoretical and computational plasma physics group is seeking to hire project officer to assist in project management and participate in work on modelling of fusion plasmas.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Assist with report writing and project management
  • Communicate research outcomes to relevant stakeholders
  • Assist with activity planning, progress tracking and organisation of academic events
  • Provide research support as needed, in particular produce databases by using state of the art turbulence code
  • Conduct data processing and analysis


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in physics, computer sciences, communications, or another related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very well organised, with experience in project management and communications
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
  • Familiarity with plasma physics, high-performance computing and/or machine learning is desirable
