As a Centre of Excellence within the Office of Human Resources (OHR), this role requires the candidate to review the HR policies to support the University's strategic goals and mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Design policy roadmap and be responsible to develop and review HR policies and processes for all schemes to ensure that the policies and guidelines continue to support the University's HR strategies, evolving environment and priorities
  • Identify areas for alignment and synergy across the three schemes; recommend and develop new policies, standards and guidelines to further support HR's efforts in being a choice employer.
  • Provide and/or coordinate among COEs to provide OHR's inputs for other non-HR policy reviews
  • Engage stakeholders in the review and development of HR policies to obtain feedback and garner buy-in
  • Collaborate with other Centre of Excellence (COEs) to ensure consistency and alignment across policies and staff handbooks
  • Drive and design effective change management plan to share updates in HR policies
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) teams to drive adoption and implementation of policies and guidelines, taking into consideration operational requirements and constraints
  • Provide advice to stakeholders on feedback or queries related to HR policies


Requirements:
  • At least 15 years of experience in the HR function, with at least 5 years in the design and/or implementation of HR policies
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with passion to acquire knowledge in new domains, and the ability to think critically and develop thoughtful opinions.
  • Experience working in environment that involves liaising with multiple stakeholders
  • Good project management skills and knowledge
  • High change agility and strong analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to write well using concise and clear language, and structure ideas clearly
  • Meticulous and work well under pressure
