The Biophysics lab in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences has an open Research Fellow (RF) research position. We are seeking self-motivated and passionate scientists with a strong background in Chemistry or Biology to work on nucleic acid structure and therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle synthetic chemistry
• Handle cell biology
• Conduct bioinformatics analysis
• Engage and collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and external collaborators for drug discovery and development
• Provide support in grant administration/management

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biophysics or related disciplines
• Research experience in the related areas
• Able to multi-task and work independently
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to complete experiments on schedule
