Senior Executive, Student Progress [LKCMedicine]

The Senior Executive, Student Progress, supports Vice-Dean (Education) and Vice-Dean (Clinical Affairs) in administering processes and policies concerning student progress at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. This position reports to Assistant Director, Student Progress. The post holder is required to ensure that efficient and robust systems and data handling mechanisms are in place for monitoring student academic, professionalism and wellbeing concerns.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Student Progress, the candidate will play a key role in but not limited to the following:

Student Progress
  • Arrange and take notes during diagnostic meetings with faculty and House Tutor
  • Manage action plans arising from decisions taken at diagnostic meetings
  • Prepare reports for presentation at working groups and committees
  • Keep proper record of Concern Forms and supporting documents
  • Manage the records for the Conscientiousness Honesty Engagement Respect Index
  • Identify areas of improvement in workflows and processes


Secretariat
  • Secretariat for the Academic, Professionalism and Wellbeing Monitoring Group
  • Assist in secretarial duties for the Student Progress Committee


Requirements:
  • A recognised degree in Business Management, Arts and Social Sciences or any other relevant discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Meticulous and detailed oriented
  • Responsible, self-motivated and takes initiative
  • A good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and a problem solver
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point is essential
  • Prior administrative experience in a higher education administration will be an advantage


This is a 3 years contract appointment.
