Research Associate (Psychology/ Implementation Science/ Social Work/ Counseling/ Nursing/ Education)

The School of Social Sciences is looking for a dedicated, personable, and mature Research Associates to be 1) trained in a parent-child intervention program and deliver it to families with young children, and 2) to learn to quantify "sensitive caregiving" according to recognized behavioral systems. Research Associates must be comfortable with having their own images recorded and used in subsequent intervention programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the project as needed (e.g. by helping with IRB)
  • Administer the VIPP-SD, and help to modify / track any changes
  • Train to code parenting sensitivity
  • Administer the VIPP-SD and coding sensitivity within the RCT


Job Requirements:
  • Masters in Psychology, Implementation Science, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, Education, or related field
  • Past experience with parents and young children in a professional and/or personal (e.g., motherhood) capacity
  • Desirable interests, skills, and attributes
  • Willingness to learn a new intervention system and way of thinking about behavior
  • Keen observational skills
  • Personable and compassionate
  • Hardworking
  • Good self-management, responsible, willing to be flexible in working hours as required by participants' schedules
  • Conversational fluency in at least one mother-tongue highly preferred
